June/July/August 2013 in a glimpse...

Whoa!  That was a mouthful of a title wasn't it?  But as you know, I get busy and don't always get on top of my posts, hence three months crammed into one!  And I didn't even get to post everything I wanted to in August, so September's gonna look pretty eventful.  More posts to read for you {YAY!}, and more typing for me {NAY!} :-P

Before we kick off this monthly glimpse, I'd like to officially welcome y'all to SPRING!!  Isn't the weather confusing, though?  One day it's hot, the next there's heavy rain and even hail!  No wonder I am sick at the mo :-(  So not likin' how I am right now, but what can ya do?  All my boys are finally back to good health, then I get sick.  Typical.  It always seems to be the way for us Mommas.  We can't get sick while others are sick, because we have to look after them.  I can't wait to be WELL again!  I'm giving this flu/head-cold/whatever-it-is til this weekend only, because I have lotsa plans this month!  And being sick isn't one of them!

Anyway, the main point of this post is to highlight what we got up to these past three months this winter.  Let's take a look shall we?

I hope you all had a lovely long weekend, thanks to the Queen :-)  I still can't believe we're halfway through 2013!  Next thing you know it's Christmas!  Gotta get my planning on soon!  I LOVE CHRISTMAS TIME!

December 2012 in a glimpse...

Happy new year peeps!!  It is officially the first day of 2013, can you believe it?  What a blasting 2012 we've had!!  Let's now take a moment to look back at what we got up to last month {or dare I say last year, hehe}

We kicked December off with some Christmas craftivities, making our very own baubles!!

We farewelled my son's Primary school, Summerland...

 ...and gave teacher appreciation gifts to his teachers and also to my twins' daycare teachers...

Then we had the Golden Graduation cap and scroll to celebrate Kathryn's accomplishment...

Celebrated Joaquin's 6th birthday with a Pokemon Pikachu cake...

...and celebrated Carson's 9th birthday Ninjago styles!

Last but not least, we ended the month with Christmas cake and cupcakes!!  Nom nom nom...

What a deliciously creative month we had!!  I am sooo excited to face new challenges and learn new things this new year!!  So far, it's been a wonderful start to 2013!!  Looking forward to what comes next!!  Thanks for sticking with me, you're a true pal!!

November 2012 in a glimpse...

Whoa!!!  It is now December!!!  How crazy is that?  I can't believe this year is almost over!!  Just reflecting back on the year I am grateful to the Lord for keeping my family and I safe and happy.  Even through all the challenges we faced this year {and trust me, there were heaps} we are still smiling :-)  Challenges are great because you know God is working through you, moulding you to a better person.  So, don't think you're unlucky if you haven't had a great year, just think you are blessed that God loves you enough to help you work through some things that need to be addressed to help you with your tomorrow.

What a delightfully sweet month we've had, huh?  Hoping that December will be one awesome month, too!!  Hope you've had fun looking back at our November together!  See you back here soon with some fun Christmas craftivities!!  Can't wait!!

October {2012} in a glimpse...

Wow, it feels as though October was such a long month!!  For me and my family anyway.  So many hospital visits for us this month for different family members, including our very own son Jubs.  It surely has been a month full of trials for us and a test of faith, but I'm glad we're staying positive through each experience.  Praise Jesus for giving us all the strength we needed {and still need} to get us through such a challenging month {and another challenging month ahead}.  We know that there are plenty more stormy days ahead but our daily focus is on the 'present' - let God sort out our tomorrow.

Of course, we also had a lot of fun and happy times this month with our cakes and cupcakes!!  The main event for the month was Pinkalicious October, and I am very proud to say that together with your help we've managed to raise $269.67 {which I will round up to $270} for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation!!  Thank you sooo sooo much for all your support!!  You're all legends!!
